Running Strong

At times it seems that God’s activity in my life is quite difficult to identify. I often ask, “Okay, God where are You? What are You doing about this situation? You know this is a problem but I am trusting You to do something here.”

From my viewpoint, He appears to be distant, uninvolved, and certainly not very active. He is silent and I hear little from Him about it.

In spite of how I may veiw life and what is or is not taking place, there is another viewpoint to consider. How does God Himself see things?

Then I am reminded and confronted with this reality, “God is never doing nothing in my life.”

It brings encouragement and keeps me moving forward. He is involved and working for me and in me.

My fear and anxiety are reduce significantly. Faith and courage expand.

Thank you, Father, that You are at work in my life, whether I can see any evidence or not. I trust You.

Well, here I am with my own blog!

I have finally set up my own blog – it is something I said I would never do. But you know what they say about “never say never,” right?

This will be the place where I share my thoughts, ideas, observations, and insights about life and the people all around me. I have no delusions that anything I blog will be earth-shattering or change the course of world history.

However, I do expect it may cause you to at least think about and consider how my humble words may apply in your own personal world. I do hope you will benefit from the time you spend here.

Topics I tackle will be wide-ranging. Nothing will be off-limits. I will laugh at, complain about, cry over, critisize, complement, challenge, confront, ridicule, mock, affirm, analyze, and whatever else happens to strike me. This is going to be fun.

I make no promises regarding how often I may post. So check in regularly and let me know what you think in response.
